EV Way Station Project
Spring 2024
This theoretical EV Way Station in Tennessee, embodies the duality of being both sheltered and open, providing protection from the region’s shifting climate while remaining visually and physically connected to the surrounding landscape. Designed as a contemporary rest stop, the station offers drivers a calm, breathable space to recharge, both their vehicles and themselves.

South Elevation
Inspired by Tennessee’s dynamic weather patterns—humid summers, sudden rainstorms, and mild winters, the overhangs and canopies provide generous shade and rain protection, while open-air breezeways and framed views connect travelers to the natural environment. This is a space of movement and moment—a place to plug in, breathe out, and experience a modern stop that’s as much about people as it is about power.
